About this programme

You already know how to feel calm in a class.

Most of us have felt it — that stillness after a yoga class, the quiet after a meditation. And then we walk back into daily life and it’s gone. The Awakened Heart Programme is built around one idea: that peace isn’t something you find once a week. It’s something you learn to carry with you.

Across four Sunday mornings, you’ll explore meditation not as a practice you do, but as a way of moving through the world. You’ll learn to use your daily life — your relationships, your challenges, your emotions — as your greatest teacher.

Four sessions, each three hours. Content will include:

Yin Yoga as Moving Meditation
Using the body as a doorway to stillness.

Traditional Meditation Forms
Seated, lying down, and Yoga Nidra.

Breathwork as Meditation
Using the breath as an anchor and a gateway into deeper presence.

Receptive and Active Meditation
Learning to still the mind and to direct it — and why both matter.

Presence in Daily Life
Practical tools and teachings for making everyday moments your practice — bringing what you discover in meditation into your relationships, your work, and the small moments of the day.

The Awakened Heart Programme runs across four consecutive Sunday mornings in September, online via Zoom. Sessions run from 10am to 1pm. Places are limited to twelve participants to keep the experience intimate and allow Orla to work closely with everyone in the group.
