Who we are

This website is operated by Orla McBride trading as Awaken with Orla, based in Dublin, Ireland. You can contact us at hello@awakenwithorla.ie.

What data we collect and why

We collect personal data only when you actively provide it to us. This happens in the following situations:

• Booking a programme or workshop — we collect your name, email address and payment details. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we do not store your card details.
• Submitting an enquiry form — we collect your name, email address and message. Forms are processed by Formspree.
• Registering interest or joining a waitlist — we collect your name and email address.

We use this data only to respond to your enquiry, process your booking, and communicate about the service you signed up for. We do not use it for marketing without your explicit consent.

Legal basis for processing

We process your data under the following legal bases (GDPR Article 6):

• Contract — to fulfil a booking you have made.
• Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries and manage our business.
• Consent — where you have explicitly opted in to communications.

Third-party processors

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate this website:

How long we keep your data

We retain enquiry and contact data for up to 2 years. Booking and payment records are retained for 6 years in line with Irish tax obligations. You can request deletion at any time (subject to legal retention requirements).

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to: access the data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; object to processing; and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@awakenwithorla.ie.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
