Orla came to yoga in 2014, and quickly recognised she had found something she wanted to understand fully. Her first 200-hour Hatha Teacher Training at the Yoga Therapy and Training Centre in Dublin confirmed it. She began teaching in 2015 and hasn't stopped since.
The decade that followed brought continuous study — a 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training at The Elbowroom covering Yin, Restorative and Vinyasa, Pregnancy Yoga certification at Barefoot Yoga Studio, Breathwork Facilitator training, Reiki, and an ongoing Advanced Meditation Teacher Training with Arhanta Yoga. That range isn't about collecting credentials. It reflects a desire to understand yoga as a complete system, not just a series of physical techniques.
She currently teaches at Barefoot Yoga Studio in Dublin and brings that same range to her workshops, the Awakened Heart Programme and her corporate wellbeing work. If there is one thread running through everything she does, it is a conviction that yoga works — not just on the mat, but in the body, the mind, and the way you move through life.
